Biography of Jarrod Smalley

Jarrod is a seasoned business broker with First Choice Business Brokers, where he works with buyers and sellers across a wide range of industries and business sizes. He helps clients evaluate opportunities, navigate negotiations, and successfully complete business transactions—often one of the most significant financial decisions of their careers. Through his work alongside an experienced brokerage team, Jarrod has developed strong insight into the business sales process and is committed to providing attentive, professional service to every client he represents.

Jarrod holds a Master of Business Administration and an undergraduate degree in Finance, giving him a strong analytical foundation for evaluating businesses and guiding clients through the buying or selling process.

Originally from Yorkshire, England, Jarrod came to the United States in 2015 on a soccer scholarship in Georgia. After completing his undergraduate degree, he returned to England before continuing his international soccer career, playing semi-professionally in England, Australia, and the United States.

He later returned to the United States to pursue his MBA while coaching semi-professional soccer in Missouri, working with some of the top collegiate players in the country.

Jarrod’s international background and competitive athletic career have shaped his strong work ethic, discipline, and commitment to helping others succeed—qualities he brings to every client relationship and business transaction.
